This means there is something wrong with the electricity in the device. Please do the following:
- Unplug the landline base from the power source.
- Toggle the power button/switch button on the back to turn off the device.
- Check to make sure all the lights are off on the device. If not, press the power button again to ensure that it is turned off.
- Move the device to another outlet in your home.
- Plug the device back into power.
- Press the power button on the back to turn the device on.
If the lights still don’t illuminate, we’d recommend a battery check:
- Unplug the device from the power source.
- Toggle the power button/switch on the back to turn off the device.
- Check to make sure all lights are off on the device, if not, press the power button again to ensure that it is turned off.
- Turn the device upside down.
- Open the back of the device. If the device is silver, the entire back cover (not just the circle in the center) slides down, away from the antennas, to reveal the battery. Hold the device like a sandwich and slide the full back cover down. If your device is black, you simply need to open the small door at the back.
- Remove the battery.
- Wipe off the battery with a dry towel.
- Put the battery back in the same orientation.
- Plug the device back into power.
- Press the power button on the back to turn the device on.
